it's just the end of another sunday!

and this weekend has been rather nice. i went to Klang and paid Aunty Millie and Uncle Loo a visit. finally get to see my baby Emerald!!!

she has grown! miss her much! her pronounciation and vocabulary has improved a great deal.
i miss hugging her and having her sticking to me! she was rather shy when she saw me, even refusing to greet me. the most she could offer was a smile. it was enough to melt my heart though! after some persuading, i managed to get her to give me hugs and kisses. i gave her my handphone and let her mess with it. if there's anything or anyway to get this girl's attention, it has to be phone or sandals.

talking about sandals, Er Sao told me that Emerald herself owns EIGHT pairs! and she's only THREE years old!

mm..for those who doesn't know, Emerald is the youngest shoe freak i know. she's obsessed with them. according to Da Sao (her mum), they can never let her enter any shoe shop, because each time she enters, she'll grab a pair she likes, try it on, and just walk out of the shop and the parents will have to pay for it. Why? because she refuses to take them off and boy, she's good in running away from people who are trying to catch her.

this weekend was basically a time to catch up on the whole lot of things i miss about Klang. talked to Liza a lot about life in Uni, her friends, her life. Uncle also had a chat with me about his second son who's all the way in UK. Aunty told me about her business with Da Sao. Rocky became very hyper, jumping all around. i think Kurohige transmitted his hyper-activeness to Rocky.

Liza did some "fashion show" for us by trying on a few blouses Aunty got from her trip to Shanghai. it was so funny looking at her making all sorts of faces, especially when she came out of the room in the green blouse she fondly called "Durian Shirt". i really miss spending time with her. she's such a sport!

sunday morning's breakfast was spent at "hai lam peng" aka Hainanese Rice. i don't really know what it is made of, but im 300% sure it is nothing close to Hainanese Chicken Rice and my, it tastes yummy!! *slurp* people, Klang is not only famous for Bak Kut Teh!! there's a whole lot more treasures waiting to be revealed!

then lunch was spent at Nando's in Jusco with Aunty Millie, Uncle Kwee, Liza, Guat Shan, Ah Wei, Hong Lin, Kenny, and also Guat Shan's adorable youngest sis, Guat Ling. Aunty treated them lunch before the 5 young ones left for Kampar.

after they left, we went home. i went online for a while, bathe and got ready for dinner. we left the house around 8pm. had dinner and Uncle Loo, Aunty Millie, and Uncle Kwee brought me home to PJ. i feel so touched! i wanted to take the train, but Aunty insisted that i stay for dinner and they'll send me back. they are so nice to me that sometimes i feel real bad for not visiting them often.

brought back "beh teh sou" (my favourite!) and also Kampar Chicken biscuits that Aunty bought for me during her last trip to Kampar. i also got Kit Kat!!

i felt at home and at ease again. it feels nice to have people who dotes on me like a family.

the only disadvantage is that i'll put on weight with all the food they stuff me with.. but it's fine! i love them!
